The purpose of the study was to investigate the type of support services teachers provide for learners with intellectual disabilities in unit schools in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The cross-sectional survey was employed for the study. The sample size was 57, and the sampling technique was a census survey. A questionnaire was used as the main instrument for data collection, and Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS 21.0) was used for the analysis. Findings of the study revealed that teachers in the unit schools provide counselling services, academic support services, social support services, self-help skills support, and transport support services to learners with intellectual disabilities. The findings again revealed that there was no significant difference in the support services provided for learners with intellectual disabilities. It was recommended that the Ministry of Education should make a policy for the provision of guidance and counselling services to the various unit schools in the Eastern Region of Ghana and across the whole country.
